I have had a lot of work to do on the computer lately, and this Starbucks has been a pleasant alternative to working at home! There are plenty of chairs, outlets for about half the seating, and the store receives a lot of sunshine! The service and coffee is about average for a Starbucks (so pretty good), and they are open until 11pm most days! Great news for the night owls! Walgreens next door is 24hrs if you need to grab something on your way out, and there is plenty of free parking. Oh, bring a sweater or jacket if you plan to stay awhile. Their AC works REALLY well.

Always freezing inside; today they are not open! Web site says 4am WTF ! Its 5:40am still closed..... Terrible. So glad i left my house.......

I've never had a problem at this Starbucks. The baristas are quick and attentive even when there is a line. The drinks are consistently made well. It's located next to a walgreens and a bevmo too, which is nice. The only downside to this Starbucks is the parking lot. It's time consuming to leave from both exits, especially during the afternoon with so many cars passing by. :(

So you have the standard starbucks-like things, that you expect at every location, because they are a chain. These homogeneous items (coffee, decor, prices, etc) you probably already have your own opinion about, so I won't discuss them here. A huge plus for this location is it's hours. It's open till 11:30pm, which is very convenient for any of us clock-punchers that can't normally make it out to coffee until after dinner. Because of the hours, the police come in regularly, so you can be reasonably assured your car is safe in the parking lot. You also get an opportunity to express your gratitude to these hard-working folks who literally risk their life every time they go to work. There are a couple groups of people who come in all the time. They take over entire sections, and watch youtube videos at full volume without headphones - I'm not kidding. Because of this (I guess), the internet is so slow and unreliable that you're better off tethering internet from your phone.

The service is pretty good and fast. I really like the holiday drinks, especially the chestnut praline! Make sure you get the stamps, so that after your fifth holiday drinks, you get one free!

I've gone to this Starbucks off and on the past few years when I'm in town , and I must say the service has certainly downgraded. When I used to come in the mornings, there were was a rather energetic and happy crew. I mainly remember Rosa, she always remembered my drink and greeted me with a smile. I was told that she moved unfortunately to a different store.Nowadays, when I come in, things seem disorganized. It looks like there's a lot of new baristas and I've felt rather dissatisfied with not only the customer service I'm provided but also the beverage quality. I'm pretty sure I've had the manager himself( Paul ?) make me some poorly made beverages. Sometimes I feel like he doesn't even acknowledge his customers or set a good example for his employees.Very disappointing. The only appeal about this store is the hours though.

I knew there was a reason I don't come to this Starbucks location! These baristas are totally incapable! I have the same order every where I go. Nothing complicated other than the fact that I ask for my iced mocha with NO ice... The order is an iced grande quad skinny mocha no ice. So why in the hell would you you give me a cold order make it a hot drink & yet still poor it into a cold PLASTIC cup & hand me a practically melted beverage container? To top it off forget the rest of the drink? ... This barista handed me a 1/4 cup filled grande plastic cup??? In addition to all this... Where is the rest of the drink??? I brought it to the cashier & asked him what it was?!? This location would have gotten a negative star; but I gave it the 1 star, only because the cashier remade the drink himself, & gave me a voucher for next time.

This isn't one of my regular 'Bucks locations but it was a convenient stop after dinner nearby to grab some coffee and continue the evening, so we popped in around 8 on a Tuesday night. We were surprised to see there was only one available table, so we grabbed it quick. This was quite the happening spot, who knew! I got the feeling the guy who took my order was training - he seemed quite nervous, and didn't have that usual Starbucks zipzipzip quickness. Our drinks came quickly and accurately, but a problem that commonly plagues me (I really should have learned my lesson by now) is that when I order my standard iced grande nonfat white mocha, I also have to specifically say no whipped cream. My brain says "If I want nonfat milk, why the F would I want whipped cream?" but hey, I'm sure that person is out there. 90% of the time, they ask for confirmation on whipped cream. 5% of the time I remember to tell them to leave it off. And like last night, 5% of the time I just get whipped cream. Dammit - I hate being wasteful, but I would never ask them to remake a drink over what is ultimately my own screw-up. I just wish he had asked. I'll never learn!! The condiment area was clean up top but littered with tons of sugar packets on the floor, like maybe they had fallen when the trash had last been emptied. Not awful but sitting at a nearby table my eyes were repeatedly drawn to it. All in all, a decent and acceptable Starbucks but just enough stumbles that they won't become my regular spot.

I rarely ever write any reviews but this place definitely deserves one for their crappy service. The girl that wears glasses here was very rude towards me and I even witnessed her treating her coworkers badly also. Will never return again and will be telling all my friends and family about this horrible place also.

Ordered a carmel macchiato for lunch on wednesday. I tasted it as i was leaving and it tasted odd.. I was in a rush to get back to work though so i couldn't complain besides i didn't know why it tasted weird. I forced myself to drink half of it because i needed the caffeine. Big mistake. I think they left the milk out because i felt like i had food poisoning and was sick all night. MILK HAS TO BE REFRIGERATED!! Never going back to this place!

I love Starbucks and this location isn't any different for me. The food is good and their service is pretty fast in general. On one occasion, they got my drinks wrong and the manager comped my whole purchase, about $15.00 worth! I was surprised and impressed by this. They are also open until 1130PM which is great. On the other hand, on more than one occasion, I've had to wait at the counter while an employee stands by the register and and does not acknowledge for several moments even though they see me. They might be doing something else and I am patient but it would be nice for a customer quality "hello".

I hate to be a hater, but Starbucks continues to disappoint in every way possible. Their soy lattes are terrible. They always seem to taste overly sweet. It doesn't have the same rich espresso flavor as other coffee shops. They obviously serve an inferior product, and yet their storefronts are everywhere, so they are unavoidable. I was feeling sluggish after a long weekend of heavy drinking (and by heavy drinking, I mean five beers in 2 days). Damn Brandi! Calm it down, you freakin' lush. Sarcasm aside, a Starbucks soy latte is a real joke. The one I had today tasted like steamed milk with nothing else in it. Did the barista forget to put the espresso shot in the bottom? I'll admit, Starbucks has this salad I like in their display case. It contains kale, butternut squash, roasted beets, broccoli, red cabbage... some of my most favorite vegetables! Unfortunately, this one tasted really off. The expiration date was today, but perhaps it was not refrigerated properly, because it was gross, gross, gross. Bad lattes happen. A bad salad is simply unforgivable in my eyes. Note to self: stop being irresponsible and frequenting franchises, you naughty consumer. Get your caffeine fix someplace else!

Worst Starbucks in Walnut Creek. Pretty sure the barista stole my gift card money that I asked him to reload...balance never uploaded. Contacted James, apparently the supervisor, who made me wait for over 10 minutes before I asked for a managers card. James never acknowledged me when I revisited the store to inquire about the missing gift card money. When I asked for the managers card I was told they didn't have one. I am writing corporate tonight.

Amazing customer service. Paul has been at this store for years. Very well run store and efficient.

Havent figured out why Walnut Creek seems to have lots of late night coffee shops. Glad they do so I can get caffeine on the way back from cross state road trips. 11.30pm on a Sunday night is totally welcome. Picked up a La Boulange almond croissant and a black iced tea for the road. Definitely hit the spot. Oh yeah because it's open so late there were 4 sheriff and 1 WC police all over the parking lot so Im pretty sure you wont get robbed here.

Very convenient location and they open late! Perfect for last minute study cramming sessions. They make your drink in a reasonable amount of time. Never had any trouble with them.

NICE OUTDOOR SEATING AREA A few tables out front in the sun, a couple in the shade, and all the seating inside this Starbucks is really a nice perk about this location. I have always found service to be quick here. I lived a few blocks away for many years (at my parents house). The biggest inconvenience here is that you can't drive directly from this parking lot into the one with the BevMo next door. It's hard for me to turn down a cold frappaccino, especially on the hot days. Seriously, I have no self control. Extra whipped cream, please. We had to join a gym recently to counter all the whipped in my life. I had a friend that worked here years ago and I used to come in from time to time just to say hello. I don't know if they had free wifi then but they definitely do now. Just like most Starbucks, you see people sipping their drinks at tables while pecking away at laptop keys. If this location were closer to home we'd be happy to frequent here, but the smaller Starbucks on Treat is nice too!

  • Grace Anne D.

Definitely won't be coming back here soon. Customer service was ridiculous. Came in and there was no line so I stood in front of the glowing glass of light that displayed their pastries, which now they sell some La Boulange goodies! After I was looking, I went up to the register and I just LOVE their hazelnut syrup and I wasn't too sure if they still had it since I only ordered their salted caramel toffee nut latte during the winter so I decided to ask and this is basically how the conversation went: Me: hi, I was just wondering if you guys have the toffee nut syrup? Worker (girl): uh.. yeah.. we have it all year round (sarcastic) me: okaaay. then I'll have a tall toffee nut latte, soy and decaf. worker: *repeating the order to type through the computer* me: oh and can I get one of those ahh I can't think right now haha worker: haaa yaaaa you can't. RUDE. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a store before but she made me feel as if she was one of the cool kids trying to make me feel bad so she could feel better about herself. I couldn't believe she would make anyone feel like they're idiot's. MY BAD that I don't work for Starbucks and didn't know what you had all year round and MY BAD I didn't work for La Boulange and knew what all the pastries were called.RUDE AF. Didn't know Starbucks was known for sarcastic, rude, workers and making their customers uncomfortable and feeling like it's the customer's fault for not knowing everything that is used to make their drinks.

Out of nutritional guides? And they don't have a booklet for nutrition of their drinks? Jamba has one. I'm really surprised. Horrible service and the staff was very rude when I inquired further.

Still friendly and awesome! Plus, they're one of the only two Starbucks open late in Walnut Creek.

Rude and intimidating. Paul, the store manager, was lazy and did not want to do a dark roast pour-over.

I can't give them a 5 star review because they are so many starbucks to choose from! And if you are a review artist, choosing the right starbucks is necessary when developing your Story. All i can say is this Starbucks was directly in the mall downtown near the parking deck construction. Almost like smack dab in the middle. As i am not much or a starbucks enthusiast, i was in need if a refreshment, so while headed to Macys strecth after leaving the Apple store i popped in for a passion Tea Lemonade on the rocks suggested to me by an employee named Michael. I also remember this huge patio like window that opened up a complete wall of vision. So, i order the drink ad if finally is made. And it was a masterpiece. It was tasty, it was ripenly sweet with the right amount of texture and cold water. All i needed was a lemon lodged into the pretty colored beverage and off i could have gone to another galaxy inside of that cup. If you have not had any of their teas's because you believe nothing exist outside if coffee, do yourself a favor and order one. Your tastefbuds and your life will thank you. Ill research it but for now let this one win the points for our attention and regard.

Closest Starbucks to where I live. Has a nice outdoor seating area and place itself is pretty decent. 5 stars is really for the fast and friendly service. Always quick with my drink and always smiling and having a good time at work. Cheers!

Tall pumpkin spice latte--two pumps, FTW. Yayy fall! Great location directly off the Treat Blvd. exit. One of our go-to Starbucks spots in the area.

I frequently make this a halfway point to meet up with sac area friends. They have a good amount of seating, friendly baristas, it's clean, they are fast and their pastry case is still full in the late afternoon. Top that with being open late and they are a near perfect location with lots of great restaurants nearby too! One down is that they are always packed and parking lot is a mess.

Came here to meet with someone and before I met with them I wanted to order a drink & a snack before they arrived. Right after I ordered I realized the person I was meeting was also early. Long story short i left realizing that I never got my roasted mozzarella panini. Nicole was extremely rude and said she called it out numerous times. I just wanted my money back. As she gave me my refund i said thanks and se just turned away. I have never been to a Starbucks that had that kind of customerservice. Will never return.

Shift change isn't this Starbucks strongest time of day obviously. The attitude was odd and the blatant ignoring of customers was so obvious. I felt like I was being inappropriate by walking up to the counter. Customers shouldn't feel that way. The make up point was the girl making the drinks. She was very nice and obviously not involved with what ever was going on the other end of the counter. Like pretending like you aren't really working behind the counter at Starbucks. By the way, whoever invented the Blueberry Oat Bar is the most wonderful person to walk this planet. I think I would open mouth kiss the person who came up with that bar. Its that good.

A Starbucks is a Starbucks. I always make comments on the Baristas, but since this was a short stop it was just a normal Sbux experience!

This is a great location - easy off/on freeway access - it's our fix for the morning commute when we stay in MTown. We're there pretty early so parking isn't an issue (strip mall lot). The other reviews are absolutely right when they say service is friendly - and they'll remember you and your drink order after just a few stops. But so many mornings staff seems to be more interested in talking amongst themselves than minding the line of customers forming. And this line does form... Oh, and there's no drive-thru here as mentioned in a diff review.

    (4)
  • Mally S.

This Starbucks is consistently fast in the mornings. There was a line out the door, literally, and from the time I got in line till I got my latte and breakfast sandwich was only 12 minutes. My espresso is never burnt which I appreciate since a lot of Starbucks' have a problem with that.

  • Jason G.

I go here every morning and sometimes in the afternoon for our daily fix. The staff are more like friends than employees. They always remimber our names and ask about our day. I will miss this spot if I we ever move. Keep up the good work! Jason & NIcole

I absolutely adore my N. Main & Treat crew! They always take the very best care of their regulars. The other day, one of my favorites, Rob, walked out my drink, while I was outside talking to some other partners! For that type of service, I'm obviously a lifelong customer. ;) The managers, Paul and Justin, run one of the most amazing stores I have ever experienced (and this says a ton, considering I'm an ex-partner of nearly 5 years). I love this store and all the incredible partners and people I've met along the way. :)

  • E Katrina L.

If I could give this place 5 additional stars, I certainly would without hesitation. The employees at this locations are sooooooo awesome. They take the time to listen to there customers, get to know them on a first name basis and remember their customers favorite drinks and pastries. That means a lot. The customer service here is the best... Honestly, they could serve chocolate milk instead of a fancy latte and I'd still frequent this place. However, the drinks are GREAT and they are always accurate. If you're having a crapy day, this crew will give you a dosage of optimism to keep going.

Cute Starbucks in Walnut Creek. Just like any other Starbucks with their drinks and friendly service. It's the outdoor patio that really sticks out. Check it out sometime. :)

This is my Starbucks. I go here quite regularly. The service is always outstanding. I get my drinks fast, and they're always the way I like them. The baristas can actually hold a conversation, and are pleased to do so. They take a little time to make sure you're smiling on the way out. Despite there being other locations on my way to work, I make it a point to stop at this one to get the service I've come to expect. I never have had a chance to just sit here and enjoy my coffee, as I'm always on the go. There's lots of seating, but I'll confess that it's usually quite full. Also, this is one of the few locations that opens up really early and closes quite late. I'm a fan.

  • Belle N.

The employees are what make the joint. They are suuuuuper nice and helpful and always pleasant. I don't know how they do it. Personally, I'd lose my mind if I had to help the hundreds of people that come in here each day. I'm taking off a star because it's always so damned cold in here. Why is your AC constantly running at 12 degrees? I've come in here during the winter and that thing is still going full-blast. I don't get it. We're not hot, Starbucks. On those days when it's not a 100-degree summer day, we're usually coming in here for HOT drinks, so please....ease up on the AC. Every time I come in I wish I had a blanket with me. Also...I know y'all used to be a 24-hour joint. I wish you still were. You'd make millions off of me alone if you were still a 24-hour operation. That said, I'm glad you're open 'til 11:30 on most nights - one of the few late-night cafes in my hood.

I have dropped in here many times at various hours, and the staff is always friendly and FAST. Bonus points for having enough seating , both indoors and out. I *almost* docked them a star for the occasionally frustrating parking situation, but I've never been totally shut out trying to find a spot, so I'll let them keep the coveted fifth star for now.

I went in here for the first time today and they were so nice! The customers in there were all obvious regulars and they had back and forth conversations with the employees. The best part is (and I hope I don't get anyone in trouble for saying this) I got a free drink! The man in front of me ordered the exact same thing and had to pay for his so I felt uber special! The young lady at the counter did it out of sheer kindness and she made my day! I wish I'd caught her name so I could send her an anonymous thank you! If she's reading this... THANK YOU!!! :) Oh yes, and fast service. Awesome spot.

Its Starbucks, what can you say? Actually this Starbucks is the closest one to my work, and I frequent it a lot. I really like how the staff remembers regulars by their names and know their drink. Also, the decor is warm and friendly at this location.

Quick and consistent drinks. There is seat inside and out. Their retail selection is small. The downside is now that iHop is a couple doors down, the parking lot is really packed with cars and this Starbucks always has a line.

Other than the drinks and snack counter being ok, the restroom really needs to be fixed.. once inside the womens' restroom, very very dim light and also the flusher didn't work.. was it just that week?

  • Gennie G.

One star because it was near the freeway. A second star because it had a drive through. I give this place a loss of stars due to them not being able to make a simple thai iced latte drink. Basically I ordered a thai iced latte and they said they couldn't do that. Uhh... I know you can since every other Starbucks I've been has done it. The drink is simple. Ice, milk, and the pre-made mixture of thai latte that they sell on the shelves. What's the difference? Well it's cold instead of hot. I guess I just schooled some employees. Boo-yah.

  • Jeff K.

This really is one of the best Starbucks around. The staff are usually very friendly and remember the regulars and their favorite orders, even if it's a custom order. Occasionally, though, some of the staff try to talk to each other by yelling over the sound of the coffee machine and the customers. Some who regularly do this have very loud and grating voices. It's very disconcerting. Although they are at work, they need to remember that we do not come in to hear them yell and carry on. In addition, the self-serve area (creamers, sugars, napkins, etc) usually gets pretty messy very quickly and isn't cleaned up as often as it should be. I should also mention that the parking is a pain. Recently the owners or management of the building they are in set aside a number of spots for employees. These spots are usually empty while the other spots are full, and you'll risk a $25 ticket if you park in one. The management should work with BevMo next door to set aside parking in their lot (which is always empty) for the staff. This would allow a lot more room for paying customers. If there isn't an available spot, I won't usually drive around and wait for one. I'll just drive on and get my coffee at another store. The quick and knowledgeable staff, though, are enough to make this a 4-star rating.

    (4)
  • Rob P.

I have been here for coffee on date its quite and you can talk with your date! Which is always good. They have great service but, the store is a little small =( but overall 4 stars! Yeah coffee!

  • Sean O.

Ideal location, right off the freeway and less than 2 minutes from my house. Major bonus that it is right next to the BevMo, too, so I can replenish the liquor cabinet and get all gerbiled on coffee in the same trip. Friendly bunch of folks that work here, too. And let's face it - all Starbucks are the same, but it's the people that make them different. Everyone here is always in good spirits. If you're lucky, Paul may even offer you a complimentary palm reading while you're there. (If he doesn't offer, just ask!) He hooked me up and the very next day I hit a 5 dollar lotto scratcher. After I cashed it in I just spent it at Starbucks anyways. Seems fishy... Anyways - if you're in the area, drop by.

This Starbucks is GREAT! It is my favorite one to go to, especially when (I'm horrible at names so I can't remember his name- but the guy who sings your order) is there and you have a conversation in song, that will brighten up your day. I highly recommend this Starbucks. They just put in an Ihop a couple doors down and theres a Bevmo & Walgreens. Perfect. The reason for 3 stars: Purely corporate Starbucks fault. I am currently very upset with Starbucks. They recently banned smoking on their property. As a smoker, if I'm sitting down next to a child or someone who isn't smoking I won't light up and puff in their face. I could see how some people get bothered by people smoking on the patio area but, that doesn't mean Starbucks has to treat smokers like were criminals! I used to come usually with a couple friends so consider the profit from their purchases also) and pay my $4.95 for my Venti Chai and most likely grab some type of pastry to go with it...basically $9-10 bucks profit to them. Sit on the patio, chat with a friend, drink my drink and 90% of the time go back for a refill so basically total around $14 bucks profit. I would enjoy myself, I feel like if I pay my good hard earned money I should be able to sit and have a smoke with my freakin $5 drink! Long story short, there people & quality of this Starbucks location is great. But due to their unwise decisions at all the locations they lost a good valuable customer. I started going to Peets where they don't make you feel like a horrible person and like a criminal for having a cigarette with your coffee.

My Second Starbeezy Spot! Close to work, and always a great place to grab my caffeen fix throughout the work day. You can chill inside, or hang out outside. Conveniently located by the freeway, so it's easy to drop by. Everything you'd expect out of a Starbucks is here. The only negative thing I would have to say is DON'T MISS THE PARKINGLOT ENTRANCE. You'll either end up on the BevMo side of the lot, or forced to deal with the mass of commuters just itching to hop on the freeway. . . Yes it is that close to the freeway. 3 Stars cause it's Starbucks. . . just like all the other Starbeezies across the Bay Area. You'll deal with your Barista's that aren't quite the morning type, but you'll have ones that you swear are the 'bestest ever' =P

On 5/27 I called the one in the Safeway store by North Broadway and asked about their traveler box because my company is having a meeting and they wanted some Starbucks coffee. I called and he said he'd leave a message for the morning shift to make some. I told him I needed it by 8am. So he took my name and number down and said it be ready for 7:30am on the 28th. So I get there at 7:30am and tell the guy behind the counter that I was there to pick up my traveler. He said with a slight attitude, "We don't have travelers." I said the guy I called yesterday told me that they did and he took my name. He said, "Yea, but we don't have them." So you had my name and number and didn't bother to get of your ass to call me to tell me you didn't have any and made me waste my time?! I was extremely pissed. Thankfully I remembered this Starbucks by my old work and was nice enough to do it for me :) The girls were so nice and they have a bigger selection on snacks then the other one. I wish I had remembered their names but I was in such a rush to get back before the meeting started. I also ordered a hot chocolate for my boyfriend and I. They were SO good. Thankfully they got everything done for and and quickly. I will DEFINATLY use this place again to get my coffee for meetings. Also thankfully they were close to the freeway so I was able to get to work a lot faster then having to wait in traffic in North Boradway. A++ for service!

After working out (yes, the SECOND time in two weeks -- whoot), I decided I deserved a treat. I ordered my favorite: a nonfat latte with one shot of mocha: Calories 190 (it should be a bit more as this is for a latte, how many calories are in one shot of mocha?) Fat Calories 60 Total Fat (g) 7 Saturated Fat (g) 4.5 Trans Fat (g) 0 Cholesterol (mg) 30 Sodium (mg) 150 Total Carbohydrates (g) 18 Fiber (g) 0 Sugars (g) 17 Protein (g) 12 Vitamin A 15% Vitamin C 0% Calcium 40% Iron 0% Caffeine (mg) 150 Well, OK, but I think I only burned 25 calories on the stationary bike today. Oh well.

Okay, one of the nice things about Starbucks is that wherever you go, it is relatively the same experience. Right? Wrong! The Starbucks on North Main and Treat is the way to go. The staff there call my drink by my name, and anyone who orders it that is there the same time as me also gets "a Jessica," which is just a fancy way to say a skinny vanilla latte (I take mine with Splenda). They voted me customer of the month, are so friendly, and the manager even gave me a free gold card for being such an awesome customer. Thanks Paul!

I was visiting the Bay Area last week and had an amazing Latte at Starbucks. Yummy!

It's another Starbucks. Free internet and OK coffee. Staff is friendly and it's a great place to get your coffee fix and surf the web.

I think this is the best Starbucks in the dub-C. It's true that the parking isn't the best and it is a tad small, but the staff is always friendly and the drinks are always right. When the lines are long, which can be often, they handle it well. I can deal with the other stuff as long as the staff is good.

This is now my favorite Starbucks in the dub-C. Super convenient location, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff :-)

They're very nice here, they will make a mistake on your drink every so often but they're always happy to fix it and they remember your name there. Love the extra attention!

This isn't the closest Starbucks to us, but it's definitely the fastest in the morning before work. There are others that are better for hanging out and chatting or working, but this one gets my vote for the quick in-and-out on the way in. The staff is also relatively friendly and gets the orders through the system quickly.

For some reason, they never get my orders correct. And I'm not too picky to begin with. The last two times I've ordered a nonfat mocha, I've gotten a caramel drink with extra whipped cream! I think the high traffic of this place is the main cause, lotta working professionals come here in the morning. So be patient, otherwise drive down to the other starbucks near broadway plaza or by the Safeway a mile away. The only plus is that it's open 24 hours, so I can get an emergency caffeine fix before heading out to the airport. Plus, it's convenient as it's right before the 680-S exit.

This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations. I am here most days of the week for my caffeine fix. The drinks are consistently good and the staff are friendly.

The women who takes the orders in the am - not giving the best service. I order a sandwich - apparently i didn't know the full name of the sandwich and she kind of looked at me like i was an idiot or something and then - she yells to her co-worker "is it a full moon or something"?! In all honesty i will just drive to another starbucks and order where i went feel like i am bothering the staff.

I like its cafe mocha. No other cafe can make cafe mocha as good as Starbucks. I can go late at night and they are still open. I like this place. The staff are friendly too.

My favorite Stomping Grounds Starbucks of all Times! My friends work here and I generally come here as if it's my home base. I get called by my name and people welcome me like old friends, tho we are. We can be as rowdy as we want or as quiet as we want. I love this place. Might be just the people but we'll see where that leads to =)

The best part of this Starbucks is it's location and hours. If you are shopping on Main St. and want coffee, this is easy and convenient. High ceilings make the place look bigger than it is, but seating space indoors is about the same as outside. Unfortunately, they don't do breakfast sandwiches, so I have to go to the ghetto SB near my house if I want a reduced fat turkey bacon breakfast sandwich. I almost forgot to mention that this location DOES have a good selection of treats. I decided that today's treat would be the creamcheese pumpkin muffin that is pretty damn good with a cup of coffee.

My parents are avid Peet's drinkers, but I can't resist this one Starbucks. It's starting to feel like an actual coffee place instead of world-wide chain, especially after their recent remodel. They added a lot more tables inside and got rid of most of that crappy Starbucks merchandise. Their hot chocolate is much better than Peet's, though their pastries don't even come close. Once in awhile I'll try a piece of banana bread or bran muffin -- the closest thing you'll get to real food in their baked goods. The best part is the seating outside. You can get yourself a nice latte and biscotti and sit outside at one of the sidewalk tables, just watching the hustle and bustle around downtown Walnut Creek.

One of my favorite places for coffee. They open early (5:00am I think) so I can get it on my way to work in the morning. They are friendly and fast. They almost remember my name :) On the occasions that I get to sit in the cafe, they have a few plugs for laptops inside and have good seating outside for warm days. It's also nice because there is a dry-cleaner, Quizno's, Walgreens, and Beverages & More in the same plaza. Although it's $3 for a cup of coffee, every once in a while, we all deserve a treat.

I thought this place was open 24hrs for some reason but who knows. I dont really like this location due to the bitchy attitudes from the workers. I always get attitude when I go in here, that or I wait like 5 minutes for my drink. The location is cool, parking can sometimes suck but its right by the freeway entrance and BevMo.
